It’s #TastyTuesday.
I usually slice fruit chunks, but this week I am using a melon baller! (it’s taking longer than usual though)
Anyways, do you eat #Honeydew?

I love visiting my parents in Florida. My mom made my favorite #Filipino dishes: #homemade chicken #adobo and #vegetable #lumpia (eggrolls). I helped my mom make the lumpia filling yesterday and instead of cabbage we we used fresh broccoli slaw. So yummy!

It’s #FitnessFriday! And I woke up in FL (visiting my parents, brother, and friends for the weekend). 
Actually an extremely loud thunderstorm outside woke me up before my “sleep in” alarm (7:15am…yes…that’s sleeping in for me! #MorningPerson)! Lol
So I was hoping to go for a quick run this AM before I spend the day with my mommy. But due to the weather,  I’ll be doing two indoor #workouts: #PiYO and #Turbokick (practicing for my upcoming class)! :flex:

It’s #WorkoutWednesday and I have to share that my 615am Live #Insanity class did awesome this morning! 
I love teaching this group of #corporate gym goers! They work hard during our 50 minute #workout.
If you have a gym at your corporate workplace, make sure you take a group fitness class, do work in the gym, or take a walk for atleast 30 minutes a day! REMEMBER: Every adult should be doing150 minutes of #PhysicalActivity each week to stop obesity growing in the workplace! (That’s 30 mins a day during the 5-day work week).

It’s #WorkoutWednesday and have you gotten your #workout in today yet?
I taught my weekly 615am Live #Insanity class today and now I’m off to my lab!
Many people wonder why I still bother to teach group fitness classes part-time when I already have a good paying full-time job as a #PublicHealth researcher. 
A lot of people do not know that last year I taught classes for free (as an unpaid internship) for a year’s worth of experience. Teaching fitness classes is definitely not for the money.
It’s because I can and I want to help others with their wellness, since six years ago I was diagnosed with #psoriasis. 
I went through a period of embarrassment and sadness because my skin looked awful, my posture and body suffered since my joints were deteriorating, and gaining weight only made myself look and feel worse! 
But one day I realized instead of letting my immune system disease control me, I decided to control it by improving my own #health, #fitness, and #wellness. 
I learned how to eat better and do some sort of #PhysicalActivity each day, which included taking group fitness classes at the gym. Little did those group fitness instructors know that they were helping me transform myself!
Now I’m stronger physically and mentally now, I stand taller, and my overall wellness has significantly improved. Also, my skin appearance is a lot better, without the use of prescribed steroid lotions. 
I choose to teach fitness classes because you never know what others are struggling with and I want to help them with their unknown daily struggles.
